Going to get the chains myself
The first run came out of a catalog. I picked from photographs, it arrived in a box, and the quality was a coin flip. Two of the same style would come in at different weights. Things that looked right on a screen did not turn out the way they were supposed to once they were in my hand.
That is what a proof of concept is for. It proved the pieces move. It also proved I cannot build a house on chains I have never held.
So I am flying to Brazil to pick them myself. I want my hands on the gold before it becomes a piece, and I want to know whose hands were on it before mine. The product pages for this drop are going to say ethically sourced, and I am not printing that sentence unless I watched it happen.
That was the proof. This one is the real thing.
